Weingut Millaman

The name Millaman comes from the Mapuche language and means „Golden Condor“. José Canepa, an italian immigrant, bought Hacienda El Condor in Curicó Valley in 1946. In 1998, he expanded it in order to perpetuate the winemaking tradition with his 3 daughters. This led to the creation of Viña Millaman. The wine cellar, with walls of adobe of more than 100 years, was carefully restored preserving the Chilean colonial style. With a capacity of 1 million liters, it is designed to produce the highest quality wines and to handle small batches of grapes in stainless steel tanks of 1.000, 5.000 and 10.000 liters. Our underground cellar has a storage capacity of 250 barrels. Our winemaking team is led by Alexis Castro and Stefano Gandolini. Millaman is divided into 6 different ranges: Condor, Estate Reserve, Limited Reserve, Paya de Millaman, Casa Millaman and our new frizzante, Festa Millaman.
